Hi Community, Hey about 3 months ago, I applied to a national food distributor, for the purpose of doing inventories at one of their local plants. 2 days after I applied, got a call from their Chicago office, a young lady called Laura. Now Laura told me I was in the running after the phone interview and she was going to forward my resume' to the local hiring team! Never heard anything back, tried contacting both HR at local location and Laura in Chicago. Figured they hired someone else. Wrong, Laura just called me 3 days ago, asking if I was still looking for work. I said yes, she said, ok, I would hear from the hiring team the following day. 3 days gone by, and still haven't heard. Obviously, something is going on at that plant. The way this is going, I'm not sure if I want to work there after all. I mean I think it is crazy, it's like your right hand not knowing what your left hand is doing. Definitely a lack of communication with each other and with me. But patience is a virtue, which I have very little of, I am learning though to worry about the things that I can control, not about what I can't control.
