My advice to people interested in working at #TheSalvationArmy as a #Bellringer ...
Lot of standing on your feet. Outside in the weather. Keep the money bucket and bell with you at all times. Even in restroom. Take assigned breaks on time. No wandering around. Smile. Ring bell constantly. Be kind to patrons whether they give or not.

The biggest mistake I made as a #Bellringer at #TheSalvationArmy ...
I hid the bell outside to go inside to use the restroom on a break. Some kids stole the bell.

A #stressful #TheSalvationArmy day
When someone said the Salvation Army was a communist organization. By way of a twisted opinion.

What I loved working at #TheSalvationArmy
The people i was Blessed to help. Addicts and Alcoholics. Seeing them when they first arrived, broken in so many ways. To being part of a treatment team that helped bring them back to life and well being. To see reunification of families and loved one. To see the light in their eyes and the awakening of the Human Spirit. What a gratifying feeling to know you had a small part in that happening. Doing God's work.

The biggest mistake I made as a #Intern at #TheSalvationArmy ...
Being extremely successful at leading others to Christ and not being a wallflower.
