Black listed!

Okay, here is the scenerio, had a positive interview with an hr person at the local target, thought it went well, she told me that I would hear from them 5 days from the interview, okay so i get home and she didnt hesitate to send me a rejection email not even a half hour after my interview, what gives, I think I have been black listed by my old employeer, kohl's dept store, I am just trying to get a job, and I am really fed up with the bullshit, how do I find out, I was terminated from my work after being there for 20years, but I found out after the fact that it was a set up, my district manager, Gary wingert, wanted me gone, heard that it was related to me calling corporate, ie whistle blower, I just want a fair chance at a job,so can I find out if I am black listed? ?? Can I pursue this? ?please I need feedback, ,,!!!! Love you! Thanks! !!

Very frustrated

Okay, so I scheduled a interview with the local target, the hr person, seemed very nice, had my interview, for what I thought was not a seasonal, position, 30 to 40 hrs a week, and I am not even home and I get a text message from them, that they are not interested, good luck with your future endeavors, and we will keep your application and resume on file, !! Wtf, I am thinking ageism, looking for a certain type of person, maybe I have been out of work for too long, one and a half years, I guess I'll never know what they look for , so frustrating, tired of all this

WOW! Not in a good way.

I recently applied to management positions at two local Target Stores. I got interview invites from both stores, and I happily confirmed my invites. First the two stores got the interview times wrong(believe it), and the store manager was very unpleasant sending me down the road to the other target. I still was 5 minutes early for my interview. After about a half an hour, a lady in a faded tee-shirt (pretty certain not target authorized) shows up and invites me to the interview. I am sitting in front of my interviewer in a suit, and she has a faded tee-shirt. To add to my dismay the interview was constantly interrupted by the phone and walkie-talkie intrusions, and I will tell you that was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an interview. I have interviewed thousands of candidates and the interviewer broke all the rules. THIS COMING FROM TARGET! One day later I got a rejection letter and never got the second interview. Through-out this ordeal I was pleasant and professional at all times which is more than can be said about Target folks I dealt with.

After January 2019. Hours were continued to be cut. I was going from average of 28 hours a week to 14 hours. This was a miserable time for me, especially when I was so well liked by fellow team members and many guests.

Drama at #Target

Never happened with my co-workers but a store manager was a homophobe and treated me terribly and with no respect. He was reported more than once. He did not like me!!
