The pay was great hours not so much I wished I had more hours and would have longer then 3 weeks to get a kitchen down but they expect me to know everything right away and I have not worked for 16 years but it is what it is

I became Serve Safe certified and was an assistant manager for a while and stepped down and became a crew leader, I wanted to work with the public as a car hop

I would tell them to just be careful who you work around cuz sometimes it's not always glitter and gold and when they say racism is never an issue in the workplace yes it is because if you're not Hispanic and you're African-American working in some of these places it's always about racism

The biggest mistake I've ever made was working at that particular Sonics you have to be careful with the people you work with because sometimes they think they're better than you and when you have a new person working there they try to work you too death while they're around talking and listening to music and taking pictures of themselves

the most stressful day working at Sonic's is when those were times that I was the only CarHop there when you had all the people working in there really doing nothing I was mostly doing everything managers get mad because I was out doing them and there were times when the days I was off they have me come in because they had no one else to do it but you had two managers there and they were just being so lazy and they got upset is because I'm out doing them

the customers never got angry at me they were angry at the managers because the managers were so messy and messing up their orders all the time and they always told me it's not your fault it's the manager's fault and the managers need to get fired and you should be the manager cuz you're doing their job

What I like about working at Sonic's was the customers I enjoyed bring them their food having conversations with them I love the hours. And I love the way they will only come up there if I was working

Because I've learn everything about it & I would like to become a manager later on.

What I loved about working at sonic drive in was there was never a second, being a carhop, that there was never a thing to do. I'm taking orders, serving customers or just doing rounds in the parking lot making sure the sitting or waiting customers were comfortable and accomadated.
