Skadden has changed and due to the downsizing and the paperless environment has become a stressful unpleasant place to work. There is no loyalty to the vets of the firm. Those who stayed late to make sure the job was done and all deadlines were met. Gone are the days you were proud to say you worked for them because they only cared about how much money was made and not much about the older employees who helped make the firm what it is today.

The people are what makes it a great place to work. Most of the employees who work at Skadden has been an employee for 20 or more years. Everyone get along and it's like a family instead of a law firm. Partners, Counsel, Attorneys and Directors all interact and help each other out in our daily activities.
