A manager that didn’t harp at me all the time for not being a fast enough checker. I would not want my eggs broke, bread smashed, cookies broken etc. so I took the time to put them off to the side for the customer. Other checkers to be extremely fast would send groceries down one behind the other no matter what was being sent down to be fast

I stayed at schnucks market because of the benefits, the weekly pay ,the staff were awesome, and I was there mostly for the customers and I loved it.

It was fast paced but the manager dont really like you

If customers get upset with you for whatever reason I have found they are upset before they ever walk in the door. You are just convenient to take it out on. Certain customers look down on you because they are under the impression you are just the hired help and need to cater to their every whim.

Don't. It's not the job it's certain management people. The job is easy and mostly fun. Low pay.

Look somewhere else, pay sucks. All about bottom line, not workers.
