Hey @Carolyn OShea, I agree with @Tara Carlson’s suggestions! Another I would add is one where you’re able to control your own hours, such as being a rideshare driver. It’s something you can easily do in tandem with other employment as an additional revenue stream or during your free time!
Good lawyer for mental stress
Supervisor was going around telling people wife tried harming herself and I was a drug attic. I had been clean five years. I told them when I started my story that are 6 year old son was killed by drunk driver and I became a drug attic a day later. But at this point in time I was clean.I was trying to keep my wife’s attempts to harm herself because my son’s girlfriend worked there I didn’t want my kids to look at there mom different but for needing time off made plant supervisor mad so she told everyone I was lying about it and I took time off to get high. I was so proud of my self but instantly felt like nothing I started having flash backs of my sons death and my past. Went to the CEO he laughed told me to deal with it. I tried but started getting worse was going to demote me and everyone was asking about my wife and asking if I was on drugs. Went to CEO offered to take a drug test and give a police report of well being check for letter they found they refused both even offered to pay for. Then ceo said if you can’t handle it it’s time to part ways now won’t pay unemployment.been off work since 06/2022 and don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go to work mentally my mind won’t let me I stay alone as much as I can but they get away with everything. Any one know a good lawyer in michigan

Hey @Lapacus Booker! I feel that when asking for a raise with any job, you should provide 3 supporting reasons. This is a great place to utilize any references within the company and to highlight any specific metrics you’ve achieved! I also think having grace and appreciation for your tenure thus far goes a long way.

Hi Carolyn, I'd say overnight jobs or retail. Overnight jobs always pay extra because they are less desirable. Retail jobs are great because the hours are very flexible.
