Should I ask for a raise -UPDATE
Thanks to everyone for their comments and suggestions on my previous post. I have made a decision and thought I would share.
Even though I have been with the company for 3 years, this is the first year I have been doing the job I was hired for. If we make all of our production and shipping goals we will get a bonus in November. So, I have decided to wait to see if we get the bonus - that will give me a little more leverage.
Our review process will start in September and they are discussed in December, so I will bring up the raise then. Especially if we get the bonus.
That's where my head is now.

THIS WILL BE MY SALARY! (Visualization) [IBYC]
I'm telling you the truth...
THOUGHT: Many people will fall into the category as the song says...:Another one bites the dust, by the legendary music group called Queen! However, you can prevent your name from being added to the list.
HOW IN THE WORLD IS THAT POSSIBLE?
The Master Key is called: VISUALIZATION
TAKEAWAYS: Visualization is the process of forming mental pictures in your mind of unseen scenarios, situations or series of events, that you can imagine working in your favor.
TREASURES: I can see myself justifying my salary to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). At-a-glance I can see her smiling as I work through some numbers. Yes, I can visualize her giggling a little-bit and saying..."yes, I can see your point Ms. Sharae Andrea...xyz...!
If you can see it in your mind's eye, then, you can hold it in your hand! Then, everything else falls-in-place!
I Believe You Can...!

Working for Commissions Salary
This sounds so hard. I have always had hourly jobs.

What I loved working at #GEDISTRIBUTION
I'm still working for GE DISTRIBUTION and its real nice place to work great coworkers nice supervisor and learn a lot there but just looking to make more haven't missed a day since l been there would love to stay but looking for better pay.

Success
I thought I bombed my second interview today... Less than an hour later, I got the call from the VP of the company offering me the position. I'm now with an amazing company that values and invests in their employee's continued education and success, empowers and gives their managers tools and motivation to succeed, and I feel fantastic about the long term goals that I share with this company. I've also been given a better salary than what I'd asked for, and a great medical plan. Super nerve wrecking and stressful day, but the end was great!

What Am I Doing Wrong?
I am a seasoned professional. I just received my Master’s. I quit my job in December because my boss was a jerk and treated me like a dog, yet used me to do my work and hers. I have filled out 80-90 job applications, had only 4 interviews and just got a job offer for $30,000. Yes, you read correctly-$30,000. My education cost well over $100,000. Is this all I’m worth. I have cried rivers trying to figure this one out.

To prep for an interview you should always...
Prepare to be ready for rotating shifts. It's all synchronized. If one worker takes off, the whole chain falls apart, & like Walmart, they'll pay a great starting rate to lure you in, but raises are unheard of. Team leaders need to have served in a leadership capacity for one year.

Legit Remote Job Opportunities
Anyone know of any legit work-from-home opportunities that are in Chicago, IL and/or that are outside of Chicago but the employer(s) is okay with me living in the city? I am only interested in opportunities that are for highly skilled and educated candidates that offer a decent salary and/or hourly wage. Thanks!

Should I ask for a raise?
I hope this doesn't seem insensitive because I know most of you are searching for work. Believe me, I was in your shoes not so long ago and I remember the agony and heartache but I need opinions. I can't post to Facebook because I broke my own rules about not friending people at work. So...
I will start by saying that I really love the company I work for and my job, though it was not without some problems early on. I was hired for a position that I wasn't doing at first. Long story but my original "boss" was demoted and he took the duties of my position back and I was shoved into basically an Administrative Assistant/Accountant/Purchasing position. Still had my original title and pay but I couldn't go home satisfied that I ordered pencils and coffee and did a couple of spreadsheets. Finally a new manager was hired and I was given my original job. We get raises at the beginning of each year and my raises have been decent. Thing is, I'm now still juggling the duties of Accountant/Administrative Assistant/Purchasing and now my original position Production Scheduler. And I do a good job at it but I'm feeling like I am doing the job of at least two people if not three.
Would you ask for a raise if you were in my position? Especially if you share an open space with three people who spend all day on their phones while you run around like a chicken with your head cut off all day?
After being unemployed and then underemployed for a total of 4 years before finding this job, I don't want to rock the boat. Not that I think I will be fired, it's just asking for more money is not an easy thing.
