Its a job thats requires you to show up and be a team player,pallets are broken down daily,do your ailse because people come and go,you are there to work and be flexable about getting off because this job is about putting the stuff on the shevles

Safeway was great….until they would not do anything about the Borderline Crazy Person in charge of the front end

Make sure you clean,be humbly and understand from day one that life isnt fair,your work will say more about than your words,plus mangement keeps changing row with it

I very much like what I specifically . I work well alone , I believe I have a very good attention to detail. And catch things that are off. Like size and description discrepancies. I e package change weight change bonus packs etc. I honestly can’t say I loved working for Safeway but I like very much what I did and I did appreciate very much the Pay rate and the benefits. I work very well alone, I’m not a socializer, I don’t have problem asking for help, and I am a self-starter. I’m from the older generation and I feel I have very good customer service Ability. I have worked with the public at Safeway for 40 years. I have good manners and I treat people respectfully.

Don't do it

I would like a job at Safeway again as long as I'm not treated like I have been at Safeway on hilltop

Been there 28yrs..still don't make 17.00 per hr

An honest, compassionate boss. His attitude towards his employees was I gave you a job! I'll pay you next week! I better stop right now. I will never work for that @#$! again!
