Returning to Work after Retiring

Hello I am looked to work and I am in the Central Florida/ Orlando area. I retired from Verizon last December after 20 yrs and now I want to return to work. I am 50 yrs old and I just feel like my talents is being wasted. Are there strong job leads or hiring company with good salaries out here.

Finding New Employment after 50

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be seeking employment at an age where you should be planning retirement? I believe that as long as you CAN work you should. I’ll retire when I expire.

So many job offers

I’m retiring soon. 30 years in the fire service as a Captain firefighter/paramedic. Word of mouth has sent me four good job offers. Have to sit down and find what will work best for my family. Do I stay with the paramedic side or move over to safety manager with my OSHA certs and degree? Both pay well, but one is very close to home with no challenges; the other three involve some travel but a lot of new challenges. Should I go for one of them or put my resume Officially out there in January.

I stayed positive and enjoyed being able to help mostly older people that where enjoying the retired and may be not a long time left or being able to travel.

Being able to help people mostly elderly people enjoy the maybe shorter time left of there life left or to or being able to travel that way. repair the way they where traveling and seeing all they wanted to see so mostly they where happy and on the road again. Most of the came back even just to say hi and or get there things that they needed or wanted.

Im retired after 33ys of working at the Richmond Public School System. My job title was Custodian Supervisor. I worked with 4 or 5 people and gave out work duties. Retiree looking for part time job.

I just retired from teaching (31 years) and would like to find about 20 hours of work a week. More of a night owl, so I'm looking for night work. I can't work Saturdays as this is the only day/night I get to spend time with my family. Even though I'm 60, I'm in good shape. I can lift, bend, build things, etc.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
