Discouraged

I retire from my position for a local health department on March 31, 2017 after 34 1/2 years. I will be 56 years old in October and searching for a simple office job Mon thru Fri. Part-time. I have been applying online and no-one has called me for a interview. All the calls I get is for me to apply for additional education. I never even Mark I am interested. Right now I Just want a part-time position. I was excellent at my job a clean work record and my job evaluations were fantastic. I have worked hard in the time I was there. I worked overtime and a lot of times was not paid overtime. I have created different forms and help to make the clinic I work in progress. If someone does call me it is not what I am qualified to do or a position or told that it is for what I am qualified just to find out that I am 1. Over qualified or 2. Too old. I so frustrated. I never wanted to stop working totally. I been working since I was 12. I am sick of getting education phone calls, Lyfte Driver or Uber or warehouse.

I am at my wit ends!

Bob My title is SIR- I guess

Do not trust Social Security they tried to sucker me into accepting lesser payments when I retire, and refused to say whether or not it is legal for employers to demand my age and social numbers saying only "it varies from state to state".
