Im a parttime college student and single mom who daugther is five. I work two jobs one is parttime retail express outletand the other job is full time I work at Amazon. I still cant qualified for a apartment my credit is fair. But i still a cosigner???? I dont understand why rent is so high and childcare expenses are ridiculous. What should I do?

I'm a forty year old woman getting back into the workforce and this platform has given me a lot of opportunities to get back out there. I have had a lot of emails and calls for interviews from here and other employment boards because of the resume jobcase has you set up, even with the gaps in my work history. I haven't got the job yet but I see it as God has something better out there for me or he knows it's something that I wouldn't be satisfied doing anyway. But, I just wanted to share this for the people out there that think it's impossible, I'm proof that it's not, just keep being diligent. Life has thrown curves out there for lots of people you just got to know how to ride along with them not against them even though you might get a little dizzy.

I am a 62 year old retired elementary school teacher. I would like to continue working at a clerical type position, so am planning on taking some computer courses. However, I am wondering if this will be a waste of my time. Will employers employ an older person ? I am not able to financially retire at this time, but the stress of teaching was affecting me physically and emotionally.
