Working in the ED was a WONDERFUL experience, until 2 years when the new director came. Then everything went straight to HELL! #SpringfieldRegionalMedicalCenter #RegisteredNurse

RN

I loved working at Westminster Canterbury in Richmond Virginia. I worked there for ten years, first as a CNA then a LPN. You always felt like you were family because they had the same staff there for years. The only reason I left was to move out of state.

RN

Worked as an acute nurse for FMC before in Boston. Not sure I want a clinic job. Is it possible to visit this clinic and just observe for a few hours before deciding?

Women's Health

I am a Registered Nurse with 36 years of experience. I want back to school later in life after my children were grown and earned my BSN. I went on to get my Master's in a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program last spring while working full time. I became board certified this summer. The opportunities in the Atlanta market are slim if non-existant. A few places I've found want someone with more experience. I currently work in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility with an 18 year history there. Unfortunately, our practice is not using Nurse Practitioners. I am working with women and couples managing their care every day. How can I 'get more experience' in such a tough market? I'm giving up on job boards and plan to approach practices myself with the approach of how I can help them grow their practice through my desire to provide professional quality care. I can also lend my expertise in working with the growing number of women with Infertility as people delay starting a family. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
