Stay to yourself. Do not try to be friends with anyone. The bulk of the staff are travelors, they can't keep regular staff. And since you can make your own schedule, watch who you're working with. Makes all the difference if you are going to have a good shift, or a knife in your back.

My first night I got cancelled for low census. The next night, one of the nurses got mad at me for not refusing to be called off. SHE wanted the day off after having taken the prior 2 weeks. She started spreading gossip about my nursing skills. These are cliques people who love to bully and push out new employees.

Loved the skills senior nurses were willing to teach.
