ok so I have been applying to many different positions here on the internet job sites, Job Boards ETC and in doing so you need to give information well it seems that information is being forwarded to many different places as my Cell phone gas been blowing up with telemarketing calls and Texts I just want it to stop !!!!!

After a phone interview and face to face interview I was offered a job, I was called and offered the position. I hadn't heard anything since last Thursday when I accepted the offer so I decided to email the recruiter. Her reply was "we have decided to go a different direction". Very unprofessional to not at least notify the person you offered the job to and explain why (technically they don't owe an explanation but it still would have been nice). Anyone else have that happen to them? There was no background check done & references were not contacted.

I applied for teller. I had my group interview, then I didn't heard anything after that? How can I get to an interview. The hiring manager said she will get back to me as soon as they have available near my place but there are 3 teller positions near where I live.

I finally got a reply back from a company I have been waiting for. although the pay is lower it's a 15 min commute. The recruiter emailed me for me to call them to discuss the position later that day. The recruiter is on EST time zone so it was around 6:00 am my time. It was so busy at work that day I didn't read my personal emails until it was too late. I emailed them back and called and left a message in the evening apologizing that I was unable to call them that day. If we could schedule the following day. I tried calling the next morning and left a message. It's been two days did I miss my opportunity? I do not want to come off desperate and keep calling and email. Should I consider that the opportunity was missed and just keep applying?

Competition is the problem. To few jobs and too many people skilled for them. This scenario is too familiar. Try to get a job with them but also list yourself to another recruiter. One who responded to your post. She had a more compressible answer.

Got a call from recruitment agent called 8448494159 and jeeps telling me unavailable to taje call and to call back at a later time, is there an hours of operation? Or what do i do now?

I am working with a recruiter who last week scheduled me for a face-to-face interview for tomorrow following a phone screen with the prospective employer last week. This morning she called me and said that my interview is cancelled, no explanation was given, and she would hear why off line later. My recruiter suspects that someone from my previous company from where I was let go in January for what they called "wasn't the right fit," said something. My previous employer has current employees who used to work for the new prospective employer. I hope this all makes sense. If I lost this interview because of something said by someone at my previous employer, do I have any recourse? Is there something that I can do to still get an interview? I am extremely interested in this position. Right now, I am angry and disappointed. I want this interview if there is any way to salvage it. Can anyone shed some light on this?
