Hi @Nomcebo Pamella Mchunu! This Is a great question. A few things I would suggest for you here, you can always reach out to the company before even applying to ask if the position is still open? Any other candidates and how far in the process are they at? What are the skills the company is looking for? After applying, if you haven’t heard anything after 1-2 weeks, you can also call and ask similar questions. Also, check out this article @Heath Alva posted on How to sell yourself in an interview: 10 expert tips to land the job. There are some really great tips you could try if you haven't already, like company research, learning more about your audience as an applicant and much more. Let me know if you have any questions.

Can companies do a check on you from 20 years ago?

I had a interview with spectrum, they talking about they have do a police check up to 20 years ago. I don't think they should go back that far. Do anyone agree or disagree with me.

Are there any jobs that do not do background checks or hire with the below info. I know I can’t work around kids. It was a mistake and I am paying for it.

I was arrested in 2018 for dui took an ambien instead of a blood pressure pill. My granddaughter was with me. Was convicted of a misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor which my lawyer did not disclose. He said the child abuse was throw out.
