My manager recognized me @ #CheckersDrive-In when
I guess it the first day. I was thankful to be employed, I was constantly moving, cleaning, and organizing. The manager called me in his office, and offered me 40 hours immediately. That was a wonderful moment for ma at that time.

What I loved working at #Healthport
The trust and faith they put in their staff to do the job you've been hired to do. The flexibility to make your schedule was every bit as important.

Opportunity
I'm 18 and have had 4 jobs now. It makes me sad to see people who really work hard, yet are stuck at a minimum wage-paying job due to lack of opportunity. You know the type, that one person who" somehow knows everything about the place and without them it would fall apart". Yeah, that person. Don't they deserve better?

Thanks to Everyone
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the positive and encouraging comments. I'm sitting here crying reading all the wonderful comments to me on my second job posting. It really meant a lot and warmed my heart to know that there are still caring and supportive people out there. I have always tried to live my life with helping and lifting up others as much as I could and it means so much more to me that it was me who was receiving the positive from all of you. Thank you to each and everyone may God bless all of you

Making sales
Out 800+ employees I was number 3. Check the state record. And that was only because I wanted my team to be number 1.

Crazy story @ #FamilyDollar
The first few months were great. Was settling in and getting along well with my coworkers. However I was not accustomed to working somewhere that didn't actually offer any breaks. it's just you and a assistant manager on duty at all times. Your waiting on customers, checking in vendors, answering the phones and stocking shelves. The store manager was the only one able to take her breaks with her family and leave the store. After awhile I notice that the store manager would talk about how her boss would praise her for the store looking good and for the high sales volume. Mind you she was hardly ever there. I found out later she was actually taking the credit for her employees work. She would come up with contests and never give out the prizes to her customers or her employees. This is where I lost all respect for her and the company. I believe when someone is doing good that person should be recognize, even if it is just to tell them that they are doing a good job. So I guess the craziest thing would be to give credit where it due and to allow them to have their break. Show them respect especially if you want it shown back to you..
