I would recommend someone to work at #Publix because

They are an awesome company! Go above and beyond to make their employees and customers happy! I enjoyed working there very much. They keep a clean happy working environment. Only downfall was I had a nose ring and you aren’t aloud to have them unless they are like the clear plastic ones. So meanwhile I went through like a dozen nose studs . Other than that , GREAT COMPANY!

I decided to work for #Publix because...

I decided to work for Publix because I needed a job and they were the only ones who hired at 14. I was excited at first because it was my first job and it felt pretty legit, but as time went by my coworkers and boss just didn’t take me seriously. They were al much much older than me. They scheduled ME, a 14 YEAR OLD GIRL, on multiple holidays which was infuriating. They also would only schedule me for like 2 hours most of the time and It just wasn’t worth it. The people were rude, the environment was depressing and slow, and I couldnt stand the idea of going to work. I finally quit, and I haven’t been back in that store since because of how sad and dark it is. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Publix, maybe it was just my specific store and coworkers who were bitter and too old to be working there.

My advice to people interested in working at #Publix as a #DeliClerk ...

Customers always come first no matter how busy or how late it may be. As stressful as it can be just make sure to smile and treat your customers like Kings and Queens. You want to make a good impression on your first day and show them that you are able to handle anything they throw your way. Be organized and clean. Suggestive sell to every customer you help. You can make some big bucks within a few years if you can keep good momentum and be consistent in everything you do

Drama at #Publix

When customers complain that can really hurt you from progressing. Customers can be very mean and people don't understand that they can potentially cause harm to family's. Publix takes customers complaints very seriously. I have a family of 4. I've had a few complaints in the past cause people don't like waiting their turn and they like to cause a fuss at the customer service counter. I work in the deli. Very difficult customers love the deli. If only people weren't so hateful. More love. Less hate. If your not careful you can lose your job over some hateful person who could care less if you end up on the streets.

I felt welcome at #Publix when

My boss appreciated my efforts and encouraged me to learn more about the company. I've gotten 3 raises since I've been with Publix and each one was.at least 50 cents. Great company to work for
