What made me stay at #ProvoCity was

The service that we were providing for the kids . It didn’t turn out to be that great of a job though there’s no benefit to it , you are kind of stuck in a rut because they don’t offer anything as far as full time or any benefits, you either are grandfathered in or have a contract, if not then you are out of luck . So yes you can apply you know within the city for like a better job , but in the nutrition department where I was , they have two new people that are head of child nutrition from Salt Lake ,which is a failing district and they basically even though the people that merited at least to be interviewed and have a great possibility to promote from within ,they still chose to hire people that they knew from Salt Lake ,so it’s certain that it will soon become a failing district in itself . The new Salt Lake hires for head of Child Nutrition are also obese , not to mention that they are head of Covid safety for the district and we were notified last week that the ones working at the district office are now all quarantined due to one or more testing positive, therefor the district office is closed until further notice .I separated as of Monday of this week for a better job , better paying job someplace where I can promote without nepotism , hypocrisy and the lack of respect as well as compassion for the people who are or were passionate about their jobs. When you were heard and your concerns were not shut down no matter how much they may have applied with the issues at hand. #
