My advice to people interested in working at #DyncorpInternational as a #MedicaldoctorandtrainerforMedics ...

My suggestions will be to convince him or her to work with Dyncorp international,it’s has world wide reputations and if you have quality you will have promotion ,because it’s non, racial, religious, discrimination company .This company will consider your knowledge and experience and quality not your color, religion, race, nationality.

Working General Manger

Having been offered a management position on a job some years ago, I was torn about the decision as to whether or not to accept. A fellow team member that I had confided in seemed to have an attitude about my offer. She started the "cold shoulder" routine with me as soon as I shared my news. While "in the weeds" needing help one day, she would not help when needed. When she got behind and needed help I paid no mind to her attitude and helped her through the rush. I decided that being a GM gave me the opportunity to lead by example. Team work is a combined effort not a "me". I took the position and spent ten years learning, leading, and teaching. Thank you, Shelly M. Greene 2018

Placism

I have been told by several people in different fields of employment, that I should be in management. I however, don't want the responsibility. I'm willing to step up when there is a need for that or assist my management or leads to see that things go as they should for a productive business outcome. I don't like to complain, because I have to be honest with myself. I'm a natural leader. I lead by example. I make sound and positive decisions, and I'm not afraid of working with my teammates. Naturally that can be intimidating to some of my supervisors. I have lost alot of good jobs due to that fact. My supervisors feel as though I'm trying to take their job, when in fact I'm trying to keep and do my job well. I have resorted to taking positions I'm over qualified for and doing just enough to get my daily tasks done so I don't show my abilities. When I had wanted to move up into a managerial position I was overlooked. Not for my lack of ability, but for my inability to fit the " image of what they wanted as leadership." Now mind you. I've always been a professional at work. I dress appropriately, speak respectfully and knowledgeablly, and am accountable, also punctual. I feel as though I have given my employers every reason to promote me. But now should I just settle and know my place? Steve in Indy.

Worst mistake ever.

First day on the job found out had no mechanic for some time. There were 3 piece of equipment on each site down.it took me almost 10 months to get all equipment up and running. Keep in mind the whole time a raise was promised and never received. Was demoted to operater and job given to a guy that let everything fall behind again. Then was asked to take over again and promised a bigger raise. Caught up again and still never got a raise. After quitting last check was kept by company because I would not give the company my kamastsu service program. So if you want the chance of getting what I got. no insurance, no taxes witheld, and money that belongs to you kept give them a call.

Never Sell Yourself Short

My former boss pulled me out of the pool of staff members and asked me to become the office manager. Within three months, he asked me to assume the bookkeeping responsibilities, though I had no experience. I had to teach myself bookkeeping and the accounting software we used. In another three months he asked if I could assume the IT Support responsibilities, which I did. Every time he approached me, I wasn't sure I was up to the task. What I learned is, there is nothing I can't learn. I also learned never to sell myself short.
