Stay away!!
They know nothing about trucking. I was there almost 3 years as a supervisor. They hired a guy for a driver position and less than a Month later they made him the supervisor for no reason and almost no experience. They also held my last check for no reason. The owner is insane.

IS IT A GOOD THING
I work with the financial institutions, i just got moved from Internal control to HR is it a good thing?

I was recognized at work when...
I was recognized as the fastest in the region to advance from the Personal training counselor, to Assistant Personal Training director to Personal Training Director. Meet all goals and benchmarks for advancement.

Dead End...

Strong but Sad
I come from a generation that if you work hard you will earn a honest pay. After 16 1/2 years of being in the world of cosmetology and traumatic life changing events I decided to go back into the workforce life. Boy was I in for an eye opener! I made the mistake of going to work for a client who I thought was my friend and after 10 months of being her right hand and doing great at my job I was let go, so after 5 months of beating the pavement I found employment at a company that at first I really liked grew to love. Out of nowhere my mother passed away unexpectedly, mind you I only took 10 days off to plan her arrangements and quickly returned back to work. I am the type of person that has to stay busy so I won't wallow in grief or depression. I forgot to mention that the traumatic experience was that my husband and best friend lost his job after 17 years of service was doing a side job as a DJ and while he was working was stabbed 4 times by a patron which almost took his life, subsequently he had to apply for disability and that was a long process. Anyway that was the main reason why I went from being the caboose to the enginer in our household. I'm sorry this is alot but it is my truth. So back to my last employment I did really well and was at the top of my game there then mom passed and even though that happened I still was a top producer and did my job well, so much so that I did over and beyond the call of duty. So when my year of service anniversary date was coming up I asked my direct supervisor when would be my progress review date, after 3 weeks we finally had said review, mind you I got flying marks across the board but only to be offered a .50 raise??!! What?! I was in complete shock and on that day I put in my notice. This job was very stressful but what job isn't? I worked at 6 different locations for them, won the rookie of the year award, worked 9hr days and 8 months of 6 days a week. I could go on and on but I think you get the jist. I also did what I tell my children never do, I quit without having secured new employment. It was hard working for a company that didn't value me as a person and to work under people that don't know what they are doing. It felt like middle school not even high school there. It became clear why there was a high turnover rate. What should of been a clue was after I put in my notice the GM said they never had a review process in order, maybe because no one ever stayed that long. It blows my mind how things are out here in the world now. I have tons of working experience but no college degree. I am staying hopeful but it's hard not to have moments of despair. Please Pray for me and my family as I will have each and everyone of you in mine.

Unfairly skipped over
I've been with this company for a year. From my interview I've explained I wanted to advance. 5he company has a history of promoting within. I applied for a manager position, which I'm definitely qualified for and was denied an interview because the head of HR decided out the blue she wants to hire from outside. All the other upper management was on board to promote me. Can she do this????

Manager trainee
I'm needing to find a better job I'm not advancing with mine

Please Pray for me.
I have been trying to move up in an organization i have worked for the last 15 years. I can’t even move to a role that’s require a high school diploma. I am afraid that in my focus on school I failed to pursue other avenues and now I am experiencing what I never considered would happen to me. in my pursuit and after talking with ex-coworkers who know me and know what I can contribute in the work environment the light came on. My long time friend and colleague suggested that I pursue careers in education and pointed out to me the value of my experience and education. I have since then put my application for a teaching fellowships and heard from them right away. It seems that minorities in education are very much needed. I have all the qualifications to begin teaching fellowships in the information technology area; it only requires 18 credit hours and I have 30 because I have finished my graduation degree. I am elated regarding the doors that God is going to open! I would love to stay with my current organization, but I believe that when they see you in one light it just may not be possible to move on when you reach a certain age. Keep me in your prayers!

Furthering my career
What I really enjoy about my job is working with people and helping them, I enjoy the clients I work for we have a good relationship. I strive to make there company great by finding little ways to save them money which makes the company happy and in turn makes me happy. But, as much as I enjoy working for them I'm not going to advance much further from where I'm at right now. I'm looking for a career some place I can plaint my feet and grow and help the company grow, be learning all I can and to provide the best costumer service I can. I'm looking for the next company that I can learn and grow with if given the opportunity. Thank you for you time yours truly Rodney C. Trapp
