I've been applying for jobs but I don't own any good clothes, when I go in to put in a resume in person or go in to check my status and stuff they always see me in a hoodie and my old jeans and I know it's probably doing more harm than good. But I've been unemployed for so long I don't know how to get clothes without sacrificing food or something vital. How can I get myself dressed better so I don't seem like a bum when I go to apply?

I'm about to start my first job in data entry but I have NO IDEA how I'm supposed to dress. I think they mentioned to me that it's a pretty casual office, but what does that mean? Does it mean I wear jeans, or do I need to dress up?? I'm just so confused right now.

I just had an interview for a restaurant and I was way overdressed and I felt really awkward in the room the whole time. I was trying to be confident and make eye contact but I am afraid the woman interviewing me could tell I was uncomfortable the whole time. I practiced for the interview but it didn't seem to help!
