My advice to people interested in working at #BolivarMedical as a #Pharmacytechnician ...

I worked there for at least ten years and I was let go because of false documents created by a co worker. We as a department had a meeting on harassment and the very next day I was suspended for harassment. Which was not true. It was documented that I made it a hostile environment for my fellow coworkers. Which was false . The problem arrived wen I wen to with was my boss about issues that's was goin on in the work place that was my first step. Nothing was done so my next step I went to HR. Nothing still wasn't done. Everything I said to the HR director he called my boss to his office and then the HR director made me restate wat I said to him in private to him . Once I did that they both teamed up on me. And made it their personal duty to get rid of me . Simply because I was the one that was having issues with coworkers. Remind you I brought it to their attention. Now this is how it turned out they suspended me with no pay.The following week I was terminated. So advice to anyone be careful everything is not confidential like you think keep a lawyer handy

It's a long story. After going to four different high schools I still managed to graduate, which was a miracle in itself. Shortly after graduation I met my son's father. Him and I were together for 6 years and I was going to Penn Foster college online to become a certified pharmacy technician, but things did not happen that way. When my son was three he met someone else and I had no choice, but to go where my support was and move back in with my parents. I wanted to go back to school so my mom and dad supported me in that decision and helped with my son so much so I could be successful. As I was working on my associates a spot opened up in a new pharmacy technician program. It was a career studies so I would lose out on getting my associates, but it was a better choice and best timing because I needed a more stable job for me and my son. I finally finished the program in the beginning of 2014 did an internship took my boards for the state of VA and passed shortly after that I was hired at a pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician in October of 2014. God works in ways I can't understand, but looking back on my life then to where I am now I will forever be grateful because he and Tide Water Community College changed my life in the best of ways!

My #Walgreens advice

Walgreens is a wonderful place to get started, as long as you have the right support staff. I floated all over for about 3 years before finding a permanent store. Some of the Pharmacists I worked with where very helpful in showing me the right way to do certain things while others would treat you like you where scum. I worked for them for 5 years before I had to leave do to school, but I will always remember the fun and not so much fun I had with them.
