This too shall pass...

Just getting a a bit overwhelmed at the Job Search market. I'm a 53 year old female looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician Job.I graduated in 2015 from a local Community College in 2015 as Valedictorian, however, ... Still no luck landing a career job, I currently work at a Pharmacy Retail, which I was employed at since before entering school, I assumed that I would work my Pharmacy there or a nearby store since I was an Employee for a few years prior, "Hind sight is 20/20" ..,although I've been used in Pharmacy as PRN with the company a few times, I know it's time to move on since they don't have a high turn-over rate and I DEFINITELY want to start my career. ...ASAP I've been on a few interviews, :°temporary, °they've chosen to go with another candidate ... My faith is still strong, I would not thought at the age of almost 49, that I would have been Laid Off and given the opportunity to go to school, much less excel. My main concern is "If you don't use it you lose it" I just need advice,

The biggest mistake I made as a #pharmacytechnician at #omnicare ...

Negligence in drawing controlled med syringes. Partly I did not know the required information and it was crazy busy day.

Now Im laid off

I just found out today that I'm out of work. I knew the job I had was what it was. It was the prior auth department with a long term care pharmacy. That had so many many workflows for different homes. Every last one had a different workflow. I knew in the beginning that I was struggling. I was slow. I've been a pharmacy tech for 13 years this job got the best of me. I've always been excellent with customer service which was where I was from Wal-Mart to walgreens. I knew I was slow to learn but they expected me to grasp all that in 2 months. Now I'm jobless again. Everybody keeps saying God has something better for me. MIND you I have a master's in business communication. I tried to get a job in my field of study I tried since I got out in 2015. I'm either overly qualified or not enough. I had to dumb my resume down a lot the get this 16.25 hour job just to make ends meet. I was just not learning fast enough for them. I got an apartment car and kids. What am going to do now. I know i have to find other work but by the time I find another job. I'll be done lost everything. I hate depending on a JOB for everything. I have no extra money coming in. God knows how long it's gonna take to find something else. This is depressing because I'm thinking I coulda been better. I currently have feet issues to where I cannot stand up for long periods of time. I can't go back to retail it will kill me. I don't have anyone in my corner but my brother. He is always looking out for me since he suggested I come to Houston in the first place. I don't know what to do. I'm a pharm tech by trade. I don't like being without work. What am I going to do? My kids my rent my car my livelihood.
