Why is it that people say they can’t find a job. When there are so many companies that are hiring?

Moved from Texas, where the opportunity to get a job is limited but coming to oregon the job market is plentiful ,but no one seems to want to work?

Relocating photographer

Hello there, community!

It seems to me like I need your help and will be grateful for any recommendations. Relocating is a stress and job searching even bigger.

I'm moving to the US for a O1 working visa and looking for a job. About me: I am a photographer with 8 years experience, working in directions - portraits, fashion, advertising, jewelery, food, interiors and the last 3 years of weddings (Italy) and models portfolio (Russia and France) I work in Russia, Italy, France, Hungary, Lithuania, Spain, Malaysia and Morocco and write for several travel and lifestyle magazines.

Ideally, part time or contract terms, but I will happily consider the full time. Location - Portland, Oregon. But any state and city works for me, if my presence is not needed daily. Flights and long journeys are not a deal.

Portfolio: www.orlovamaria.com Or write to me if you need more info/works/publications/proofs

If you are looking for a photographer in your team or know the cool companies that have been looking for such a person - please let me know!

*o1 visa does NOT require sponsorship.

I thank everyone who read this!

General Laborer

I worked as a general laborer for 6 months then got into the carpentors union, interested in good paying jobs at a warehouse or anywhere honestly as long as I get good hours and decent wage.

Teacher

I love working with infants and children as a teacher. It is such a joy to me. I have a masters degree in early childhood special education/early intervention. I'm also a graduate from Northwest Nannies Institute. I have over 20 years of childcare and teaching experience.

My favorite experience in elderly care

While working for an adult foster home. We had a new resident move in. He had bad edema in his legs. So bad he risked losing them. For year's he would only sit in a office chair on wheels 24 hours a day. But with in his second day working with me. I finally got him to set back in a lazy boy chair and recline. Lifting his legs up and within two days he was sleeping like that at night. After 3 and half weeks his legs were normal no more threat of losing them. And he started calling his new "Randi" legs. I was the only one he did that for his daughter told me and she was so happy she was crying. It made me feel so good to make such a good impact to him and his family.
