Seniors in workplace
I believe we are stuck and labeled in jobs we have most experience. We are banned from trying new things. Employers make it harder by having potential hires do it online. Most seniors have difficulty doing the applications online. Resume pickiness. I was a LPN for 30+ years and retired. I also have a sewing business and I am very personable and have done many areas in customer service but it is a very broad title, too broad.

Working at home
Hello, are there any jobs for a nurse practitioner to work from home? I live in San Antonio

LPN nursing supervisor
18 years of LTC and Mental Health nursing.

Love being a Nurse !
What I love about being a nurse is helping others!

Unfortunately my position has been eliminated
I have been an LPN for almost 35 years. I feel blessed with a wide variety of experiences this career has offered me. From hands on/direct patient care to patient and staff education and support to medical records investigations for quality improvement and education. I feel that all of these experiences combined have prepared me for more opportunities to advance my career.

I am looking to peruse a new career path and find where I can benefit patients, faculty, and a facility.
I am graduating Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Nurse Educator program 2/29/2020. I know that wherever I find my new career path post gravitation, I will strive to be the best nurse, educator, and leader to peers and provide outstanding care for patients.

What I loved about nursing.
Of course I loved science; which were most of the courses, or difficult courses required in nursing. I also loved helping the sick become better! It was not always the case, since I worked in CCU, MICU ,ED, PACU! And dealing with death never got easy! If you are in the healthcare field and death becomes no big deal: time to get out. I am sorry to say I developed back problems and after several failed back surgeries I can no longer be a nurse.
