It has consistently ranked high by Computer World in best companies for associates to work in. They have a Lean, Agile, DevOps mindset. They area technology company that sells insurance products.

The IT organization is focused on learning. It has a "Teaching Thursdays" where associates are encouraged to take 1.5 hours twice per month to participate in a training activity.

Nationwide is a very good place to work. There’s been a lot of changes but I’d still recommend them as a great place to work. I’ve been here 19 years so that speaks volumes.

During my 10+ years as a Nationwide Associate Agent, I worked for 3 different agents, 2 of which were great. Nationwide stays on top of providing continuous education and training for their employees so that they are able to offer their customers the best service and products. I was proud to represent Nationwide. On top of that, when you work for an Agent who is very involved and cares as much for his clients as he does his employees . . . . Well that's just icing on the cake! Best Agency around - Staples Insurance in Salisbury MD and Harrington De!!
