As the year 2022 comes to an end, it is important to find out how our community is feeling about the Jobcase App and Community?
By providing our feedback it will allow the Staff at Jobcase to use to better understand how we feel. I will start with answering my own question first.
As a member of the Jobcase Community, I love the interaction this platform offers when searching for a job, sharing #MyThoughts with the Community. Over the years as a member of the community, it allows me to help others by sharing and helping one another.
My Dislikes are the fact that it takes so long to flag a Post or Person who is trying to SCAM PEOPLE in the COMMUNITY. I feel Jobcase can do better to Stop the Spread of the Scam Threads. Keeping in mind we will never be able to completely stop the spread or intent of Scams. However, they are preventive measures that could be done in order to limit the damage it causes yo our members. I often see post from people who Post Fake Jobs and Dating. I report it and it takes days before that account is suspended. I believe Jobcase can do better in the future.
What are your Thoughts? #MyThoughts #questions #question

My messages were erased and I don't receive or send anymore. Frustrating but peaceful so leave it as it is. I don't use it.

Many of us, just before our work begins, wake up with this jolly thought in our minds. There is no need to take a dog for a walk at daybreak, iron your clothes, rush to catch the bus, or sit in traffic.
If the COVID-19 pandemic had a positive, it has to be the growth of working from home.
Some love it, remote work advocates have raised their voices loudly in support. But some hate it. Neighbors doing renovations, crying babies, feelings of loneliness, FOMO, and more. The benefits are obvious, but the frustrations are real too.
Regardless of which camp you’re in, it can’t be denied that the world of work has changed irreversibly.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, from 2019 to 2021, the number of people working from home tripled from 5.7% to 17.9%. Remote work is seen as a huge success by employers and employees alike. A 2021 PwC survey revealed that 83% of employers say remote work has been a positive move for their company According to Buffer’s State of Remote Work Survey, 98%of remote workers want to continue home office at least some of the time. Hybrid work is here for good. Workers are ready to make sacrifices to stay remote. Owl Labs found that 46% would take a pay cut of up to 5% to work at least part of the time remotely. Despite the above, around 44% of companies worldwide don’t allow remote work. And as our survey shows, 60% of employees who are working remotely now would rather quit their current job than return to the office. More on that later. But remote work isn’t just about health issues anymore. Now, it’s about money, time, and flexibility.
Add to these rising salary expectations, inflation, dissatisfaction, and the quiet quitting trend, and you get an explosive mix. All indications are that the remote vs. office war is heating up, and now more than ever, we need a data-driven view of the battlefield.
Zety took up the challenge and surveyed 1000+ US workers to predict the future of the new office reality. This allowed us to answer the following questions:
What do employees want from work?
Will employees really quit when forbidden to work remotely?
Will the desire to lure workers to the offices turn out to be just a fantasy?
What benefits do staff really value?
Are fancy office perks all they’re cracked up to be?

Good Morning Community,
With all the places hiring, are you making excuses not to return to work? This topic came up last week at our Leadership Group. Business Owners, Hiring Managers, and Small Business Owners shared some of their experiences when hiring. The Common Answer is People are becoming demanding when it comes to hiring. The Holiday Season is here and placed like Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, Walgreens, CVS, Stop & Shop, Shaw’s, Publix’s, Wagner’s, are crying for help. All you have to do is apply. Some of these places are offering adjustable / flexible schedules. What is holding you back from applying. The next thing is the “Entitlement”. We often feel entitled to the benefits without putting in the work. We posed the questions awhile back to over 500 employees, they request higher salaries and less responsibilities. Does this support hiring managers concerns? Most definitely it does. Why are you not applying? What do you look for when applying for a new job?

There is an incredibly important thing that you need in the interviewing process and to excel in your career that nobody tells you about. Career experts, friends and colleagues offer you their bland, trite, cliché advice about résumés, LinkedIn profiles, networking and how to swiftly scale the ladders of corporate success at your company.
While the suggested basic guidance and practical advice are important to know, it leaves out one paramount piece of information—you need to reset your mindset to believe in yourself and have unstoppable faith that you will achieve your goal. This pertains to both the job hunt and in advancing your career within the company you’re currently working for.

The job search process is brutal. It wrecks your confidence and degrades your self-esteem. You are forced to endure months of continual bad news, doors slammed in your face, uncivil treatment and living in a perpetual state of uncertainty and fear. There's a real tangible concern over what will happen if you don't find a job. How will you pay the mortgage and your kids’ college tuition? Could this be the end of your career?
The key to surviving and thriving in a job search and moving up the ranks at work is to change your inner thoughts and the monologue that runs through your mind. What you absolutely need is a reason why you want to achieve the goal, the ability to absorb all of the body blows and the belief in making something that seems insurmountable totally possible. These things are mental hacks needed to keep you motivated to endure the difficulties of the job hunt or climbing the corporate ladder.
MORE FOR YOU Why The Rock's Social Media Muscle Made Him Hollywood's Highest-Paid Actor Ria Health Launches Platform To Manage Alcohol Use Disorder The Life And Lifestyle Of Bernard Charles “Bernie” Ecclestone, A Coffee Farmer In Brazil If you have a purpose and a reason as to why you need to do something, you can achieve greatness. It could be simply the fear of not being able to pay the bills, the desire to provide for your family, getting the job that you’ve always wanted, putting all of the time you spent in school and previous dead-end jobs to use and getting a coveted role that you always wanted.
In any endeavor, there will be challenges. You’ll hit dead ends and knock into brick walls. People will treat you shabbily, be dismissive and inconsiderate. A low-caliber person gets the promotion instead of you because he’s the big boss’ nephew. After going on 10 interviews, you wake up excited to attend the final meeting and then receive a terse email saying, “Thank you for your interest in the role. Unfortunately, we went in a different direction. We wish you well.”
When these things happen, you need to have hope. You must rewire your brain to think positively despite everything negative that has happened to you in the past. Visualize yourself in the interview killing it and then see the hiring manager extending her hand to shake yours and congratulate you on being the chosen candidate to get the job. Picture yourself sitting in your seat in the office and working with a big smile on your face.
Sometimes, you have to trick yourself. Think of reasons why your life will dramatically improve. For example, once the elections are over, things will hopefully become normal and hiring could start up again. Will this happen? It seems likely, but not definitive. However, if you believe it, then you have the strength to endure the next few months. If you still don't get a job, then you have to focus on January when the job market picks up again. This little hack gives you a reason to wake up in the morning and fight the good fight to move forward with your job search or advancing in your career.
It's not enough to know the basics of interviewing or advancing within your career. You have to have a strong mental model that makes you impervious to the challenges and obstacles that you confront. The best way to do this is remain positive, upbeat and enthusiastic throughout the journey.
At first, it will seem artificial, but keep trying. Substitute positive thoughts for negative ones. Look at the bright side of every interaction. Constantly remind yourself why you’re doing this. Think of what the end result will look like. View this journey as a brief three-to-six-month test of your character and internal strength. Even if it feels like this arduous journey is taking forever, see yourself as a warrior battling through a relatively short intense period of your life. If you live to 90 years of age, what is six, seven or even 10 tough months? It's a small blip in time compared to your entire lifespan.
Once you are victorious and get that new job or promotion, you won't have to deceive yourself into being confident and courageous. It will now start to flow naturally. The results will speak for themselves. Now, you know that you can beat the odds and succeed at what you want to accomplish. The next time you go after a new seemingly unattainable goal, you will be brimming with confidence. You could look back at your previous victories and say to yourself, “I succeeded against all odds in the past and I can do it again!”
