My advice to people interested in working at #TrinityAcademy as a #MusicDirector ...
The pay is terrible at less than minimum wage. I was working 38 hours/week and making $20,000/year. If you are new and starting out as an unlicensed teacher (but they discriminate against hiring teachers with teaching degrees) or you are having a career change it might be a somewhat friendly environment to cut your teeth adn get some classroom experience under your belt. It is not an accurate reflection of most private schools and certainly will not prepare you well for classroom management in public schools. The headmaster is understanding and accommodating about having a second job or emergency obligations outside of work adn they are quick to reimburse though budgets in the arts were very low when names. Students are very easy going and behavior problems are minimum.

The biggest mistake I made as a #MusicDirector at #TrinityAcademy ...
Trusting the intentions and promises of the headmaster was my biggest mistake. I should have pushed more for fair treatment or left earlier.

My favorite part about volunteering at #MusicDirector was
