Mediations are about resolutions not the law and its wonderful to see people resolve their own conflicts. They walk away empowered to use the skills they have learned to avoid conflicts in the future. People are much more creative and generous in solutions that they participate in and more willing to pay fines and payments than fines imposed by the court.
