Privately owned company and I liked my job...what I did....working with customers one on one. BUT....there was no true leadership from the “managers” and one in particular on the parts counter was super lazy and fell asleep multiple times per day and nothing was ever done about it. I am a disabled VET and hurt my back and needed some time off. I called the “service manager” on Monday morning and told him I would need a few more days off and would let him know. I called on Tuesday to find out that I was terminated because I didn’t call in Tuesday morning after I had told him the day before that I needed a few more days. He lied on a regular basis about many things and was the first to blame someone else for his mistakes. Whatever you do, don’t go to work there.
