Working at Marshalla really took my customer service skills to the next level. Even though I was in loss prevention, dealing with individuals who entered into the store to steal. I would still treat that individual with respect and integrity. But for me, the most interesting thing I learned was how to deal with a person who is dealing with anxiety. Learning how to speak the right words in order to calm him/her down so that they don't harm themselves or others really showed me a different level of customer service I still use when socializing with anyone til this day.
was working the front end as a coordinator learning the ins-and-outs of accepting returns and what returns not to accept from people who that were coming in trying to get money for returns that they didn't have a receipt for or just trying to get in exchange for things that were stolen from other stores that they were trying to bring to our store to get a cash return which never would happen and did not happen as a marshal employee we knew that if they didn't have a receipt that the return would have to go on a Marshalls card
