Last year at work I #MadeADifference when...I started walking rounds each week.

Our ulcer rate had increased, so I suggested we start walking rounds. We included the wound nurse, nurse manager, OT, dietician and the physician or CRNP comes. This has made a difference. OT suggests positioning , dietary supplements, and it has increased the staffs awareness for better prevention.

Within the first six months, I #MadeADifference......

Shortly after moving to this new location i relized that lots of problems existed within the inventory and shipping/receiving department. Also when classification rounds (quarterly inventory cleanup) occurred I found many flaws in the final processing. I did manage to get most of the bad habits corrected, changed several of the methods used for returns and have been constantly working on making ongoing improvements.

I don't think you can even sum it up in a year, I think you have to sum it up in the past 12 and a half. Whenever you are a massage therapist you are making a difference in everybody's lives whom you are integrating massage therapy modalities to their body. You are either working with the muscles directly, myofascial tissue, cranial sacral for the head, or doing deeper releases that allow people to gain movement where they were not able to before. I think being a massage therapist has made a difference throughout my entire career of being one.

I recently had a production job and we had an overflow of shoes. No one else thought about adding more shelves. The more shoes out on shelves ,the more sales.
