Should tattoos be a reason for an employer to not hire you? A worker in India with 800 tattoos was barred from retail and restaurant jobs due to what was deemed an excessive amount of tattoos. What are your thoughts? Should job candidates be banned from jobs for tattoos?

To get your job back, follow these steps:

  1. Reflect on what led to your departure and consider if it's possible to resolve any issues or address any concerns.
  2. Reach out to your former employer or supervisor to express your interest in returning and discuss the possibility.
  3. Be prepared to address any concerns they may have and demonstrate your commitment to making a positive impact.
  4. If your former employer is not open to rehiring you, consider exploring other job opportunities using platforms like Jobcase, LinkedIn, or other job search providers.
  5. Update your resume and sharpen your interview skills to maximize your chances of finding a new job.

Is there such a thing as a legitimate online job?

I have a permanent job, but would like to find a second job I can do from home or in my spare time to supplement my income.

Customer Service - Hard or Soft Skills?

Many people claim to have excellent customer service skills - but what are customer service skills? Are they a hard or soft skill? Are they skills that can be measured?

Customer services uses hard skills such as data entry, POS equipment knowledge, attaining and applying customer knowledge, product and industry knowledge.

In addition to soft skills including • Communication skills • Problem-solving • Critical-thinking • Empathy • Confidence • Resilience • Openness to feedback • Learning mentality • Teamwork • Analytical mindset • Creativity • Conflict resolution skills • Adaptability • Persistence • Leadership skills • Decision-making skills • Stress-management

The average lifespan for software & technology is under five years, making continuous learning another important soft skill.

To find the perfect job you’ll not only need the right hard skills but soft skills to be more productive, adaptable, and effective as an employee.

In an interview for a District Manager job, make sure to highlight your leadership experience, ability to drive sales and meet targets, experience in managing teams, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. Also, discuss specific examples of how you have successfully handled challenges in previous roles. Remember to research the company beforehand and ask thoughtful questions to demonstrate your interest and enthusiasm. District Manager at Richmond Times Dispatch

If this is for the Richmond Times Dispatch, ask if all the routes in your district are filled? Ask about the total hours you are "required" to work per week/pay period. Ask if you will definitely have 1 or 2...or any days off.
