Hi my name is Mason I am 14 almost 15 and need a job. I would like to work at kroger or any available job near me that i meet the standards of.

I had older couple who came almost every day to the store--when they found out my name was Teresa, they started to call me St. Teresa after our Beloved Mother Teresa!

Most of my co-workers became like my family, since where I lived and worked i had no family other than my husband.

I worked for kroger 14years and loved it. Yes it had its downs. Yet it gave me a job that both helped my family and others. Gave me a sence of pride knowing i was contributing to the comunity. Kroger offerd competitive wages and good insurance. I enjoyed working for a unionised comoany

Let me make this perfectly clear, I’m not sure if it’s the company or just my local store. When I started in a department I knew nothing about, it took me sometime to get used and to get in the groove of my departments needs, but a month or two down the road I had been busting my arse for that company, and all it got me was absolutely no where. It didn’t matter how hard I worked, they wouldn’t give me a raise when I truly needed it or when I deserved it. I was made a nightly supervisor in my department but they refused to give me more than $8.50. They did not want to follow osha’s Safety requirements, and when I need more money my fiancé tried applying for a different department and they refused to because of her “teeth” when my teeth look twice if not three times as worse as hers do. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. If you need work give it a shot but immediately start looking for something else.

The best thing was that I was part of a family, not just an employee. We all worked together and got things done. Our customers loved us and we took good care of them. Our store has been #1 in it's division almost since it opened.
