Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a Direct Hire opportunity for Medical Technologist to work weekends, as needed in Miramar Florida.
Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist includes:
- Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result;
- Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens;
- Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures (see department SOPs).
- Review and release test results.
- Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines.
- Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and all maintenance performed;
- Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance.
- Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, correct the problems encountered or immediately notify the senior technologist or supervisor.
- Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications.
- Follow department's procedure in reporting STATS or Critical results to clients.
- Maintain complete records of all testing performed on-site.
Requirements of the Medical Technologist includes:
Education: BS in Medical Technology preferred; or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology

This is a project-based role, but is long term and a great opportunity for immediate work while continuing to expand your skills! This is a full time, remote role, within standard business hours.
About the role
As a Customer Care Representative, you will assist clients in a variety of stages from inquiry to ordering to problem resolution.
What you will do
- Work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Professionally handle incoming requests, via phone and email, to ensure prompt response and resolution to questions
- Proactively manage customers with orders on hold, staged release dates and blanket POs
- Review, enter and book orders according to order entry policies and procedures
- Strive to gain a broad understanding of products, market segment and customer needs.
- Resolve questions about timing of order delivery, shipping, etc.
- Handle any Return Authorizations expeditiously
About you
- Associate's Degree or equivalent industry experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3 -5 years business experience; preferably in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing or Life Sciences Customer Service environment.
- Professional demeanor; excellent phone skills, strong attention to detail, team player.
- Experience with ERP (Oracle preferred), Microsoft Office proficiency.

- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Pay rate: $20.00/hour
- Project duration: approximately 1 year or longer
