Same situation, but New You!

What is it about the New Year that we mentally press a restart button, and get motivated to change our circumstances. Unfortunately, we stop towards the middle of the year and go back to our slump until next year. I encourage you to push yourself beyond the same old new year's resolution and make a permanent change. You deserve better and you are worth so much more!

Remember the reason for this season

While the reason for this physical season is Jesus, Please remember that the reason for ANY season of hardship is GREATNESS! Your Greatness is Coming! Don't be discouraged

You are my inspiration!

You remind me of a life lesson I sometimes forget. I thank you for that. Let me say this first, but then please allow me to explain it further afterwards.

Remember in your current struggles that --

success is not how high you bounce at all, but rather, how high you bounce after hitting bottom.

How many times have we met someone that would have us believe they are highly successful, only to find out they got to where they are because they were "born with a silver spoon in their mouth", or "rode on someone else's coat tails", so to speak? In other words, they got to where they are because they were given a very favorable hand up -- an opportunity no one afforded you.

You made it as far as you are because of who you are, not who you know or what family you happen to be born into.

How much more admirable it is to find someone like you, maybe not quite as high up in that proverbial "ivory tower", but you got where you are today by being so persistent in the face of all the adversity you had to overcome. I am inspired meeting you right where you are today, even if you feel discouraged that you aren't living up to your own potential. Most jobcasers don't try to tell you that you aren't living up to your potential, so stop telling yourself those things. You already showed much more potential than many, just by being here. Many would have given up by now.

Hungry for a job

I truly want a job not cause I need one cause I want one. Yes I have made mistakes in my past and my past doesn't define my future. I have learned and I'm still learning. I just need a chance that's all.

Happy Dad

I just want to take a moment and encourage any other single fathers that might be out there. Life throws curveballs and we can't always see them coming. I never thought that I would end up parenting by myself, and it's been a rough couple years figuring it all out. I used to be able to work late and travel often and trust that my wife had things covered on the home front. It was nice to be on a team. Things are so different now that I'm the one making sack lunches in the morning and taking my daughter to soccer practice–it can definitely leave you haggard and stressed trying to keep it all straight.

But even though it's been hard, there's been so much good. I feel closer to my daughter than ever. My parents help out sometimes when I can't quite get it all done, and I think it's been good for my relationship with them too. I love my life and I love my daughter. I feel blessed.

No matter what you are going through, hang in there. It will get better.

All roads lead to......

A map, a direction, a goal, and a journey, but in order for you to start, you need to take the first step. Whether it's follow up on your application, asking for a raise, applying for a job, whatever the case maybe, it's up to you take it.
