Great district, best district in the state of Texas. Huge district, everybody cares about each other.

A certain activity that I had created and planned did not work the way I wanted. Got help from co worker and got activity fixed/

The most stressful day is the first day and the days leading up to the first day, everybody is stressed, on edge to get everything ready for the first day of school.

When you work with individuals with different personalities, communication confusion got someone upset with me, lasted only short time when able to clarify the confusion, not angry anymore.

I loved the students, staff, the family aspect of working as a team. Loved my job.

Katy ISD is one of the top districts in Texas. Everyone who works in the District is treated with respect and professionalism and every staff member is expected to treat others in the same manner. At every level, high expectations are set and everyone from the Superintendent to the custodians are there to serve the students, parents and community. My husband and I lost everything in the Harvey Hurricane and Katy ISD surrounded us with so much support and care that we will never be able to thank them enough.
