Today I got home had seven job offers and employers impressed with my resume. It's been along time 2010 since I have been out of work because of being ill. All I can say is I'm back!!

I just landed a Job. After 6 months, and hours each day. I negotiated many jobs and failed. Funny now everyone's call.

"Hallelujah" I was offered three job offers today all with Great Benefits, Exceptional Salaries, Vacation Time, 401K! I praise God because he said to be patient and to not be anxious of anything. Even when I felt like giving up he spoke to me and said "Be Still" the God of Isaac, Abraham, he told me to go get my inheritance..... When I thought it was over he Blessed me with not one but three to choose from.... So let me encourage my brother and sister who may feel like throwing in the towel. God is testing your faith, he wants you to trust him and know that he will do just what he said he will do. Keep on pressing, pay day is coming after while..... Believe and trust his plan..... I praise God because he did for me and he can do it for you!

Good afternoon everyone. I just received 2 job offers. One from a very stable collections agency and one from Cardinal Health working from home. Cardinal claims to offer training with a pay of 17 per hour and then 30 an hour after training. The interview was done via Google Hangouts. Anyone heard of this and if so is this a legit opportunity? Thank you.

Need Advice on Decision of Choosing Between Two Job Offerings

Need help to make decision between two job offerings: both hospitals are good size, have very good reviews, A hospital, Med Surg (Med Surg is my first-choice specialty), night shift, very convenient commute, most likely higher pay too, (I don’t know pay rate yet), B hospital, Acute Rehab, day shift ( good pay rate, the director of dept gave me offer without any hesitation, but longer commute. I personally prefer Med Surg, day shift, because both are very good hospitals which make it harder to decide, cannot hang it too long. Previously I did Sub Acute and Med Surg about 1 year. Any Input Appreciated.

I had a phone interview on this Saturday past for an executive assistant job for an Australian company. I got that job. Now I have a phone interview at Casey's General Store in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. What do I do? Work two jobs? I feel that will take time away from my girlfriend and my family. I have a decision to make.

why is it when you get interview after filling out 40 job applications and you go through all the phases of the interview process and your about to get an offer then you start getting calls for interviews that are maybe better jobs but no guarantee. So now i'm torn between holding out for a better job with more pay or taking the job that i'm going to be offered

I am 49, educated, and have an impressive resume but have now been been unemployed for over 6 months. I am out of savings and despite a strong Faith I am running out of hope. I've applied for many dozens of jobs, most of which I haven't heard back from, and most interviews have resulted in being told I am overqualified. Yesterday everything turned around for me. After a string of interviews last week and on Monday of this week, I received FIVE job offers yesterday, including one that is more money than I have made in ten years! After all of this time, my full time job of searching for work has paid off. I give credit to my perseverance, prayer, and belief in my abilities and in God. They say He answers our prayers in His own time, and that has been the case for me. I cannot describe the relief I feel in not only finally being rewarded for my patience and my belief in Him, but being offered a job that is going to allow me financial freedom that I haven't enjoyed in years! My message to all the job seekers out there is to keep the faith, don't give up, and believe in yourself and in the Lord- or whatever it is that you believe in- because better days are coming for you too!!!

How do you leverage a job offer to score a raise? I’m working now but a few months ago I decided to test the job market for a higher paying job. Money’s never been a big career motivator for me but my wife’s six months pregnant now so we need to get ready to take on more expenses.

I got a couple of calls with job leads from recruiters by nothing worth walking away from my current job. I did manage to get a phone and one on one interviewed with a pretty good company that showed some interests in me but I never heard back from them after the 2nd interview so I figured that opportunity was dead.

That 2nd interview was almost two months ago! Well, yesterday the HR manager from the company called me with a job offer. It’s a lateral move title wise but they’re offering more money. I asked for a couple of days to think about it because I kinda like where I am right now and would definitely stay if they would raise my salary. Should I use this job offer as leverage strategy for a salary increase conversation with my boss or should I risk handing in my resignation now and hope for a counter offer from management to get me to stay?

Last week I interviewed with four different companies three of them have offered me a position. All of them wanted a start date of Monday, but the fourth company is the one I really want and they're not making their decision until after 1 PM on Monday. These companies want an answer today as for When I could start. Would it be appropriate to say Tuesday I would be able to start at one of the other positions, and then call the two other companies and decline . In hopes of finding out Monday that I have the position at the fourth company which I really want. And if they don't offer me a position I'll still be elated because I'll be at my second choice ???
