Cadillac problem
I know this won't sound like much of a dilemma, but I have received 3 job offers from the three jobs I applied for. Sounds like a Cadillac problem right? But here's my issue how do I decline two of those job offers in such a way that still makes those companies want to hire me in the future should I ever have the need

What IS the issue with not getting hired?
I graduated in May 2017 with a MS In Professional Counseling. I did an internship with a substance abuse facility, where I feel I learned a lot, as well as contributed my time and energy to co-facilitating and then facilitating intensive outpatient groups, providing coverage for vacationing staff, and I did not get paid for the 600 hours that I was at the agency. (It is a requirement that you complete 600 hours of an internship to obtain your degree) . I was told that I did a marvelous job, they appreciated all that I did, and they even encouraged me to apply for work there. Since that time, I have submitted numerous applications and have had several interviews. I interviewed for two different positions at the agency that I interned with, and both times I was told that I was not the right candidate for the job-the SAME kind of job that I did for the agency for FREE, now they don't want to pay me to do! I find it mind boggling. I have the education and the internship experience, as well as other professional experience AND life experience. Yet, I find I am being passed over for jobs. I often don't even get a response from the places that I have applied to, and if I do get an interview, I'm told that despite my education and experience, I'm not the right candidate for the job. Now, I will be completely honest: I have a felony conviction, but I am able to work with children, I have my clearances, (local, state, and federal), and I have been off parole for years. I worked hard to graduate Magna Cum Laude with my B.A. (If they would've recognized that in my Master program, I would have had that honor again). I've worked with many people and I have been told by clients and other professionals that I have a positive attitude. I get along well with my colleagues, even if I don't like them (they'd never know), and I have never been reprimanded for tardiness or no doing my job. I dress exceptionally well, in fact; I have come into many interviews dressed nicer than the individuals who were doing the interviewing. But I would hope that this would not be the reason that I am getting hired. I would appreciate some feedback. I don't know what I'm doing wrong (IF I am doing something wrong) but this is getting frustrating. I entered the field of psychology/counseling because I was sure that this field would be more accepting of my felony conviction. Counseling is about assisting your client to find out what their issues are, coming up with some solutions, and then allowing the client to make those changes to affect change in their lives. It's about encouragement and enlightenment. But I'm finding that while they preach these tenets, they are not accepting of those issues in the people that are trying to enter this field. It's very traumatizing, because I know that I have done everything in my power to become a better person, and I feel that I have overcome much, and that I could really assist people to discover and tap into their potential. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I have signed the offer letter
I just signed the offer letter. Awaiting results of background check before I would be allowed to start. Only problem is I had to lengthen my employment history to make myself marketable. Education and criminal background are perfect though. I have my fingers crossed

God is working in my favor
Well as most of you all know i finally got a job after all my determination and praying its a part time job but its mine. Now I have a dilemma I just got offered a full time position at another job they pay quarter less than my part time job but I will receive benefits and become part of a union which is great. Both jobs are close to home only difference is the full time job pay a quarter less with 8 hour shift instead of 12 hour shift at my part time job. I considering taking the full time job but im a little unsure what do you guys think I should do.

In a bind! Help! 2 jobs? What?
I'll try to keep this short and sweet. Applied, tested and interviewed for my dream job. They told me to follow up in a week and so I did. A few days pass after I send my email, they email me say they will have an answer for me by the end of the week. The week passes and now it's Monday (TODAY). Game changer here: During this time of waiting for said dream job, I had interviewed, and had been given a job offer at a totally different company. I start at this company very soon.
It's getting down to the wire with my current employer...now it's less than a week's notice if I go with this other company. Is it ok in this instance to be honest with the potential dream job and tell them in the nicest way possible about the other offer and ask for my status? Should I not even mention my other job offer and just ask for an update? This opportunity is huge for me at the dream company and is my gateway to a future I have strived hard to achieve. I don't want to come off as pushy or needy because these opportunities are hard sought-after positions in my industry.

Job oportunities
I went to a angency they got me a job the first day.I worked for 4 days on the 5th day another job called me i went in for an interview & they hired me on the spot to start monday . Now i have a phone interview on Tuesday for a job with more money if they want me should i take it or give my job a chance is it good to keep switching jobs so soon

Frustrated
I have been searching for a job since I relocated, I had two job offers but had to lose them because of a family emergency, and now I am back to searching all day long and cannot find anything. I am so frustrated and getting aggravated. I wish that I would have not quit my last job that I had, but I did what a mother needed to do.

take the job or not..
I'm currently working part time making $20 and hour. Today, I was offered a full time job at $17 an hour.... no benefits, no paid time of, 1/2 hour lunches. I love the job I have make $20 an hour, but it's currently not keeping the bills paid at 20 hours a week. The part time job is seasonal and will offer more hours starting in October. I was given a sort of "promotion" at the part time job, but not offered more pay with the extra responsibilities... so I'm torn as to what to do.

Good dilemma....
I'm in a situation where I really can't go wrong. I have 2 semi demanding jobs (1st & 3rd shifts) where I make over $19 an hour on both jobs. 1st shift position is shipping supervisor, and 3rd shift is C.N.C. laser cell (2 machines) just up my alley as well as having 4 years previous supervision at a metal company. Started both jobs in the last 2 weeks, and it's going great. Here's the thing! I've been offered a supervisor position at a 3rd company I applied for around the same time I applied for the job I currently have, and was offered $25 hr + $2,500 bonus if I stay 6 months, and do a good job. The position is 3rd shift plenty of O.T. and I'll be operating 2 robotic C.N.C. machines as well as running the entire shift. I was told by H.R. after my evaluation the pay will increase considerably. The only thing is with the O.T. and training I will have to give up both positions in the process. So my question is do I give up 2 non stressful positions or take one position where the owner is very generous, but could be very stressful and demanding at times. I have til Friday to make a definite decision. What do you think?

Out of work for six years
I don't know what else to do. I am 55 years old. I don't look my age but my grey hair doesn't help me. I have a master's of science degree in Organisational Management. I have years of management and five years being a Project Manager. I feel I am comfortable and confident during my interviews. But I can't get any job offers. Not to mention all the job posting are paying about half or less then what I was making. I do know of a lot of people that have had to take jobs at half what they have been making, but I cannot even get any offer. I present myself well and do all the things you should do during an interview. I have been sitting home for six years now and I can't take it anymore. I must get a job. I look for jobs everyday for about four hours on my computer everyday. I also have a vocational job support group that helps me every week. I think each position has so many candidates applying for the same job that someone my age does not have a chance. Please let me know what you think I could do differently. Thank you and if you are out of work I hope you find something.
