I got hired by McDonald's last week and I will be starting my first day tomorrow. It's my first job so of course I'm a bit nervous. I feel like it's gonna go bad since I'm new and not to mention the uniform I received fits way to small. I wear large but the shirt fits like a small. Anyway what do I do when I get there? Do I just walk in to the back or ask for the manager? Also what can I expect and any tips? One last thing, can McDonald's employees wear long sleeve undershirts? Thanks would appreciate the advice.

Today is my last day of training before I officially get my job ahhh

On this Tuesday(03/13/2018) I got selected for one of the best companies as a Recruitment Specialist. Director of TA herself called and told me that I was selected and they are planning to bring me onboard on March 26th or April 2nd. So,wanted to know how long to wait for the offer letter, and how to do a follow up. Please everybody do reply as really I am very very nervous.

I went on an interview with an Arts and Crafts store as a Front End Cashier yesterday and today I went on an interview with an upscale handbag and accessory store as a sales and stock associate. Both companies had me fill out a background check which will be ok. I do not have a criminal record. The handbag store set me up with another interview with the store manager on Friday. When I got home the Arts and Craft store called and said they want me to come in on Friday for orientation but I want to hear back from the accessory store first. My question is should I wait or set up the orientation for Friday. I really want to work at the accessory store. Any advice would be appreciated.

I didn't have interview jitters. I was well prepared and qualified for the position I accepted at DeVry University. I did my research on questions they may ask, the company background, position responsibilities and how my experience could contribute to the company culture. I made sure I was well dressed, well rested and well prepared to address any concerns the interviewer may have had. I made sure I arrived on time, I spoke confidently, and prepared questions for the interviewer to insure my interview experience was engaging.

Yes, it's true and 100% happened to me. I'm angry, upset and still in disbelief that a healthcare company would "play" with someone's livelihood like this. They said to me "your hired. When can you start? This is what we will pay you an hour" Then a week later, the awful call came that they decided not to fill the pisition afterall. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
