unsure what to do

Hey! Been unemployed for almost to and a half years. After applying for numerous jobs, I went on a few interviews recently. Here is the dilemma ,went on third interview for a host position as a casino, but didn't leave feeling as confident as I would love liked. After that interview received a call from Walmart that they want to discuss job offer for part time Deli worker. I want a full time job. I do not want to turn down Walmart offer thinking I may end up with host job. Also don't want to take Walmart job, which is part time, and lose out on full time host job. What should I do?

Discriminated due to age

On April 20, 2016 I was offered a 90 day temp to hire position with a Company through a temporary service. On June 16, 2016 human resource requested that I complete their online job application form for the job. I completed and submitted the form on June 17, 2016. On July 06, 2016 the VP of the department and I agreed upon the terms and salary. On July 07,2016 human resource informed me to take the company physical examination. I took and passed their physical examination. On July 09, 2016 human resource informed me that I would start working with the company as soon as the contract expired with the Temporary service on July 20,2016. On July 13,2016 the temporary service informed me that the Company canceled the contract due to I was too efficient for the job. The Company did not hire me for the position. The Company hired someone else for the same position on August 14,2016. The Company hired someone that is much younger then me for the position. Is this Legal? Was this a verbal contract with the Company?

Job offer rescinded

I received a job offer from a company that I was really interested in working for but they rescinded the offer when I accepted a day later. I don't think there is anything illegal to this but unethical for sure!

Layoff/Out Source

Okay, so I worked as an IT Manager for 15 years with a company and was recruited by a different company to come join them as an IT Manager. It was an offer that was to good to pass up and I accepted and made the move. Once there for a short time I was informed that they had been working on an IT outsourcing project/reorg but that it would not effect my position. This went on for several months and one morning I came into the office and was asked to come talk with my manager. I was informed that my position was being cut and was told that was my last day. my question is, did they do anything wrong by not informing me of the ongoing outsourcing/reorg project was going on during the interview stage. If they had, it would have made me take a hard look at leaving a company i had spent 15 years with for them.....??

What should i do

Ok I have been talking with this company and going thru the hiring process for a couple weeks now . The finally called and set up a meeting with me and all the rest of the guys that already work for them in this area. They were meeting with them because something happen with the billing and they didn't get paid . So none of them worked now for three weeks . But anyway they hired me as a chase car driver and I really don't know what I am doing or were Im working or nothing . Anyway that same day that I went to go meet them another employer called me and offered me a job making the same pay within five minutes of my house. Oh yea and I forgot to tell you that the first job they were kinda given me a chance . Because I have my class A license but with no experience. So they were going to start me as a chase driver and then train me in a big truck. So how do I decline the first job without being disrespectful. Oh yea the first job too I am on call 24/7 which is not real good for me but at the time I was going to take it because I needed a job.

It's never too late

At the beginning of the year I had applied to around 100 design jobs in less than a month. Was offered a pretty good job from all of those, but then decided to leave beginning of the summer to pursue some other projects. Well, earlier this week I got a call from one of the other jobs I applied for asking me to come in for an interview! I just wanted to let you all know that it's never too late to hear back from someone and don't lose hope! You never know when something will be coming your way.

Do the Right Thing!

Should I accept a job offer knowing that I have might have another job offer pending that I’m sure I'll take if it comes through? My selfish self is telling me to accept the job offer I have in front of me now and quit if the other one comes through but the fact that I’m hiding the possibility of getting another job from a new employer is weighing heavy on my conscience. How do you think I can handle this situation professionally and still establish job security in case the other job offer doesn’t happen?
