I find myself in a wonderful but horrible position. Advice needed
After 11 months of being both unemployed and underemployed, in one week I have five interviews. One of them is a temporary company working for a company that I was laid off of in 2013 . The position has absolutely no chance of turning permanent at this point in time. The general manager and the person I will be working under were very impressed with my credentials and offered me the position. While I was in that interview today, I got a call from Galveston Police Department. They are offering me a Second interview. From what it sounded like, I already have the position, but the interview is more of a formality. I had an interview with an airline company on Monday and Should know by Friday if I will proceed on to the second interview. (This is the job I really want). I have another interview at 1 pm today for an AA at a furniture store. And lastly..... when I went into the unemployment office yesterday tonprint my resume for today's interviews.... one of the employment counselors saw my resume and said she has not seen a more qualified candidate for an AA position at an ambulance service. So.... while I have not done the interview.... I feel confident that I will be extended a position. So.... I am pretty sure I will have three if not 5 offers in the next few weeks. I told the temp company that I can start on Monday, but what happens if I start and 1 week later I get an offer from one of the permenant positions? There is a chance I might not be able to give 2 weeks notice. Especially if I am hired on at the airlines as I am sure they will want me trained and ready to work for Thanksgiving. How do I handle this? What should I do? I don't want to burn bridges. But I also don't want to be in the same boat I am in because the assignment ends mid January. I am thrilled I have this many choices but how to choose. What would you do?

Interviews but no offers
It's live & in living color, the companies doing the hiring are not wanting us it appears, they want the younger generation, who don't really want to work as bad as us seasoned candidates. Totally confused. But there is more than one way into the job market, if they know like we know, they would be breaking their necks to hire experienced help verses their other choice's, ijs

Suspended work license
My question is I am in Az, I recently found out my Insurance Adjusters License has been suspended. I was on maternity leave acomplaint was filed by a customer and my company never took care of it. I received a new job offer and they were doing my back ground check and found it was suspended. I am now in jeopardy of loosing this job offer and I have been working for 3 months on a suspended license. Do I have any recourse with my current company...can I sue? I am very upset by this.

3 jobs offers in one day: accepted all 3 jobs
Believe it or not, after having waited for quite some time to get a job, I "managed" to get three of them in ONE day: two jobs at the same company (two different types of engineering-2 roles at differed time) and one part-time in retail. A total of 10 interviews in ONE day, 7 at the engineering firm (4 managers in 2 different departments plus one HR rep) and 3 at the retail store (2 managers and one HR rep). I start Oct 23 at the engineering firm and next Saturday at the retail store. The engineering firm could not locate someone with my backgrounds, skill sets, education (3 PhDs) in addition of 50 years of direct and related experience. The salaries have so many zeros...I am jealous of myself...LOL. Congratulations to me. I deserved it. Good luck to you all!

Is this company Legitimate
Anyone ever hear of a company by the name of Round Energy Offshore? My husband has received a job offer and we are trying to determine if it is legitimate.

Civil rights violation
Gave notice and worked greater than 30 days to train my replacement. My employer told my new employer that I had 28 days unexcused absences and was in a psych hospital. She neglected to say it was only 4 days due to ptsd exacerbation related to being isolated from family and friends due to being forced to work every weekend for 3 years. I was one of 4 nurses. The others would not work weekends. Despite the defamatory remarks by previous employer I did get hired only to find out they would be closing in 60 days. Why would they attract new staff if they were closing. Now I have to look for work again in a rural area. I have to list references but am fearful my previous employer will say untrue negative remarks about me again. I have been a nurse for 27 years. I've never been fired. Feeling very worried at this point. What should I do?

#drugscreen #background check
So I was offered a job and I'm very excited that I have an opportunity to serve my community today I had no problem when I was asked to do a drug test...I have no record as well...Hooray!!!!!

accepted an offer
So I had two great interviews on friday, back to back, the first interview I loved the job and all the staff, and they seemed to love me, told me they will get back to me next week, the other interview they offer me the job on the spot and I accepted, told me they will send me documents on Monday, I like both jobs but the first job is what I really want, did I make a mistake by accepting the second job and should I wait to here from the first job before I sign any papers?

Have not had job offer

Question??????
I recently received a job offer after only one phone interview that lasted less 20 minutes. What has me concerned is the job description I received from the recruiter was extremely short and lacked any real details of the job. Then the phone interview with the company was short and didn't ask any personal information regarding my background or my experience. Should I take this job, my gut says walk away but I've been looking for a really long time and this is my first offer.
