Trying to make a decision

Hi, I am having trouble on deciding what I should do. I work in childcare, with young toddlers, I have been there for 5 years and do not feel appreciated. I make 11.60 an hour, and pay 90% of my own benefits. I have been going on interviews and was offered a job at another center for $13 an hour, however it is only 4 to 6 hours a day to start, with possible full time in October, depending on enrollment. Not sure how much I would pay into benefits yet, but it also has vision and dental which I do not have right now. I am unsure of what to do. I am comfortable where I am so it does make it hard. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you, Kim

Job offer...( i thought?)

Went through all the gauntlet of the interview process, and was told by all members that it was mine, and that the Job Offer letter was being drafted, to find out that HR decided not to approve. Horrible experience and am sure glad I did not resign! How does it get to that level, and then candidates?

Took The job.

Welp. Went ahead and accepted the job offer for the prison. Here's hoping it'll be better than that God awful warehouse.

Frustrated

I am 24 years old. I've worked since I was 16 and I have never had problems finding jobs. I was recently a General Manager for a company and the Director of Operations made the job so stressful I quit. It's been 2 months and I am still looking.

I applied for another General Manager position and it took a month to get first interview and then I had to wait 2 weeks to get a second one which I never got. Finally I was called to orientation which lasted 3 hours unpaid. They guy offered me the job and told me to expect the offer letter later that afternoon. I waited and waited but nothing came. I'm in constant contact with the District Manager but he don't know because he say the home office does them.

What do I need to do?

Executive Assistant

I accepted a role in San Jose for a Medical Management company. Wow! what a different environment than I am used to! After 2 months, they hired a new CMO from Alameda and after two weeks, he sure showed his true colors and i was appalled! His attitude, behavior and the sheer way that he treated subordinates was completely unacceptable in my book. Treat your employees with respect! That's all! Managers, stop acting like you are royalty and you just might find out that your employees with perform better much to your satisfaction. Seriously. You are not a God and you are not My King. So stop acting so arrogant. It's annoying!!!

Discrimination

I was offered a job and we got along well at first the employer asked me if I was on disability from the state I had to tell her that I was I wasnt going to lie to her. As soon as she found this out she began telling all management that I told her I was she then began telling all the managers she should not have hired me they began treating me very badly and lying about me. Soon after I was fired and they wrote a list of lies as to why they fired me how can I go about handling this it is really bothering me do you think a discrimination lawyer can do anything for me about this
