I am a double amputee after 12 years I am going back to work selling insurance all I have to say is life will kick your ass but never give up a job will come just keep on trying.

I am a Double amputee after 14 years my health is good I am walking I have a job all I have to do is pass the insurance test then I can start my job I just what to tell you all that life is hard bad things happen if we can move on and see the light I had 10 years of bad luck but now I can see my life getting better never but never give up please you all take care.

Its becoming impossible to get anything done with workmans comp now! I was going to CareNow to see the treating doctor but after I got the impairment rating and was told that I will have medical coverage for life, just getting ro go see a doctor has become a nightmare! After the IR, CareNow released me cause, as they said they have done all they can do, I have been trying to get in to see another doctor. The workmans comp agent said I can continue to go see the treating doctor at CareNow. But CareNow said because I was released feom thwir care, I can not. So I have been trying to see about going to see another doctor to help with the daily pain I am in. So after weeks and weeks of back and forth with the insurance, they finally said they have found a place that I can go a see a doctor. Well, I get out to the place they sent me and its a flipping ER! I go in and let them know that the agent at the insurance sent me to the stating that they this place will pick up where CareNow left off. The doctor at the ER is scratching his head and asking me why tjey would send me their knowing that they are ONLY an ER and do not do long term care, which is what I am needing. Because in order for me to get back into working again I have to have something to help with the daily pain. I mean not being able to stand for more then 30 minutes without intense crippling pain in my back makes it extremely hard. The ER doctor said what you need is a nack specialist and why the workmans comp did not try to get me to one is beyond him. So he wrote me a few scripts and sent me home. I drop them off at the pharmacy and said I would get them the next day. So then I get a call the next day saying that the meds were DENIED by the insurance cause the place I went (that they sent me to mind you) was not covered by the insurance! At this point I am livid! I am so angry I call the insurance and ask what the heck was going on! Theu said they are getting it all cleared up. Later on I get a call from the pharmacy saying the scrpits were ready. Great, finally I can get something to help me. Only when I get there, out of the 3 scrpits, workmans comp approved only 1! I am at my breaking point! I have lifetime coverage but can't get into a doctor office to help. I get a script for meds only to have them denied! Can't work if can't stand pr walk very long, can't stand or walk very long cause I am in pain, can't get out of pain cause I can't get in to see a doctor! What the heck am I supposed to do now?!?

I am self employed and have been for 30 years. My husband lost his job in the footwear industry 4 years ago. He is now my employee and it has worked out great...but the health insurance piece is out of control. I am thinking I can go back to work and he can run my most successful business...A Doggie Daycare boarder and daycare/walker. I am also a Personal Trainer out of my home (20 clients per week), I also train the Police Recruits 1-2 x pr/wk and I run my own Skin Care business. Ideally I want to work with people - (fitness industry, healthcare industry, etc.) but ultimately I would like to work PT and receive health insurance benefits. Thoughts on where to look?

Corporate world is frustrating. My husband got laidoff about 3 weeks ago after working so hard for this company. The company sent him on a business trip came back and he no longer had a job. After he got laid off, we decided to do our own business. Being your own boss, you never get fired by anyone. You clock in and out on your own time. We are into insurance and investment business. You had to be self motivated, a good time manager, detailed oriented, like interacting with the public, work until the job is completed, do not be a clock watcher, know how to read a map and work in most weather conditions. The management team will help you over come most work related problems. Some non critical problems you should solve for your self. Finally, you are permitted to learn as many skills as you can handles. You can work local and/or through the country.

I received notice 30 years ago from one insurance company. I received that same notice 2 weeks ago again with another insurance company. I want to work but it can be depression when you think about it. I know I don't need to dwell but I am 57 any the market for older worker is coming up short. Help

I let my license go, not because I wanted too, I had something very personal come up and it got away. I can pass the test, I just study for 10 days and take the test. Right now, Im going through some difficult financial stuff, being separated for 3 years and now my divorce is underway, I have no financial support......because he pays the house payment and electric, i cant get no help. Hes trying to take my home away. I'm not going to give up......

I'm not having any luck in the job department I have a 25 lb weight limit and cant do Repetitive movements because of my shoulder injury I hate have limitations I need to work to help out my husband and I need health insurance f ok r me and my daughter I'm trying to find a job I can do but it's harder than I thought trying to try something new and noone will give me a chance I'm a hard worker willing to learn does anyone have some suggestions thanks
