I was laid off May of 2017, I have been told by recruiter and contract agencies my resume is great and that I should have no issue finding a job in my field. I have over 15 years in Project management, team management, vendor management, business analysis, business intelligence, infrastructure, data warehousing and more.. and I am getting nothing. In this economy they say is booming I am drawing a blank. I have never in my life had an issue finding another role and have no clue why it's like my entire career has completely stale mated. I have great references, great experience in many different technologies and industries, and have worked very hard to get the education and experience that i have. I am 48 so the only thing I can think is maybe that is playing a role. I am baffled by it. I am in the Indianapolis market and I know that isn't as good as the bigger cities but my family is here and my grandchildren and I have so been not wanting to leave them again... anyone have any input or suggestions? I have literally submitted my resume 1000's of times and it seems I'm just being over looked.

In Indiana I had two cars that were inoperable.. one was a Mercedes that I had to look on YouTube on how to put a Mercedes in neutral without keys.... no one at the company new this... got them both on the trailer backwards so when I got to the place to unload I could jus roll them right off.

I went through the whole process of being hired and passed my drug test. I have a pending charge of maintaining a common nusiance on my record though because I am going through a pre-trial diversion. It is where if I stay out of trouble for a period of time I will have the whole charge dismissed but since I haven't been convicted it's still pending. Due to it being a pending I wasn't able to pass the background until it's resolved. I really want to work at Amazon and would love to talk to someone about the charge. I am a hard working mom that is looking for a career that made a mistake.
