Loving this!!

I recently got hired as a designer, and I love my new job! I definitely recommend that anyone with a talent for drawing or a great eye for colors get into the design field. It’s a great career with lots of fun challenges.

I have got a job!

I wanted a job at Fry's Food and Drug Store! I have done the on line application and the assessment to the application, went in on Saturday on open interview day got there at 12:12p.m. And I waited for almost 6 hours and I have been the last one to be interview! The manager was impressive of my answers! It went super well, not nerves at all, just felt extremely POSITIVE about it since I had saw a posting on Facebook on Sierra Vista Jobs! I have done the drug test and back ground check gotta wait till that comes back, which it takes 7-10 days! #patience #determination It pays off! Thank You Lord!

I got a job

I am going back to work May 6 Friday 9am .First time back to work in 6 yrs and was up front about my shoulder and SSD. It's only part time at a local greenhouse/landscaping business but gardening is one of my favorite past times. I did the interview and waited patiently. Well, I forgot about sending and interview thank you. So I sent one. Kept it simple. About the money. When asked the amount put down $7.50 and the pay is above that. So, yes I am excited to be back in the work force.

I Just Got a NEW Job!

Here is how it happened. I'm sitting in the parking lot of XYZ Company waiting to go into an interview for another call center job, feeling very ambivalent about the whole thing. While looking over my talking points of boring XYZ company, I get a call from the job that I previously interviewed for. That was the one that I was called in for the second interview and wasn't hired. If I was still interested in the position and if I could come that very same day for training. I said "of course, I can, I will be right there"! So now I have a job and a "manager" title. Not sure what I manage, if anything, but it sure does look good on a resume. The job doesn't offer any benefits except a pay check, but hey that's better than nothing! So, I am very grateful to have a full time position!

To all those still struggling, you will get a job, it will happen. It took me 5 months to get another position and it was a roller coaster ride all the way. My suggestion is to use this time to update your resume, learn some new skills on Lynda or Udemy, and keep a very positive outlook --- don't go negative. To make ends meet during the time I was unemployed, I sold my personal items on eBay. Good luck to all of you!

Who can I use for a job reference if I can not use my employer?

I finally got a job offer from my dream job, but there’s one problem. I don’t have any references! I came to the U.S. about 7 months ago and the only job I had closed down. I don’t have any contact with my past employer. What should I do?

I got a job!

Hello! I got a call today to work for Grand Central Station - gas station. I start at 8am tomorrow. I think it is the asking the question at the end of the interview, it shows true interest in working for the company, and going over those interview questions before I got interviewed... its like taking finals in school and making sure you are prepared. I will stick around and let you know how it goes, I am a Chicago Bear fan who got hired by a Greenbay Packer family. lol So football season will be interesting. lol

Got my first job ever at Coach Outlet! How can I educate myself on handbags and accessories?

Okay so let me start right off by saying that I’m a man so ladies please help a brother out! I applied a couple of months ago but I never thought I’d get a call back for an interview. The lady that interviewed me was real cool. I basically told them at the interview that I’m ambitious and willing to learn so she hired me on the spot PT and told me to get familiar read up on the different styles and materials. So where should I start??
