Travel Centers of America Cashier job interview was a breeze!
I basically filled out the online application and a day later received call from manager inviting me to interview the following day. The store manager asked me about my availability, minimum pay requirements, and education. He handed me a document detailing the job responsibilities and had my complete a worksheet with basic math problems. He asked me some questions about my experience dealing with difficult customers and took me on a brief tour. When we got back to the office he offered me the job and filled out my background check paperwork. I start work next week!!

I got hired yesterday for a job that I think I will hate. What should I do? Should I keep looking for jobs?
I’m 28 years old, and I have been unemployed for the past 3 months. I need this job to pay rent. Been sending out resumes left and right for a long time, and this is my first job offer. I’m going to be a call center representative. I don’t think I’ll like this position at all but I still have student loans (around $6k) left to pay off. How should I approach this situation? I dropped out from college and I’ve been doing odd jobs left and right, like waitressing and customer service positions. This call center job pays me a little bit better. Any suggestions for career advice? I’ve never actually worked at a call center before, so not sure what to do at a job like this.

Mechanical Assembler
After being out of work since the end of October,I am very happy to say I found a job. It's a 6 month temp position with the possibly of becoming permanent. Sometimes we have to tough it out. Since being laid off 4 years ago,I have only been able to find temp jobs, but a paycheck is a paycheck and pays the bills. But I really do hope this lasts several years.
