HR vs Recruiters

Bring back HR depts in companies these freaking recruiters are the dumbest. I've never had an issue getting a job when it was applying at the company and interview info with hr now since these recruiter don't know what they are doing and takes up your time for no reason .just to talk ...

So stupid....

Harrassment

I am so stressed angry. My supervisor yells at me and try to find something to harrass me about. I am a hard worker, but she acts like she hate me for a reason i am unaware of. I am a medical coder and have coded for 9 years. I started working this job early last year. She tells Hr i am not coding up to her expectations. Why am i being treated so unfair? I go home thinking about walking out or cussing this lady out, in which she is trying to provoke me. I need out now. I am looking for jobs now.

Without work for 2 years

In my last job I was the # one sakes associate in the district out of 74 employees. 4 months before I was let go the company refreshed the upper management. The HR manager, District management and store management were all new. One day I came in and was asked to a meeting. In the meeting the HR manager was on the speaker phone. The district management was sitting there and the company loss prevention management was there . I was told the register was short about 3 months earlier and they were letting me go because I was the supervisor which made me responsible for all business transactions. So, I was let go. I personally think the new management wanted a new staff.

Preplexed

I recently had a phone interview with a prospect employer, they called me to come in and do the face to face interview went fine. I followed it up and sent in a thank you letter and I'm still waiting to hear from them but the employer told me they would make a decision very quickly, then HR had to do all the other paper work, they had me fill out the W-2 form the same day is that a good sign that I got the job.

Need Encouragement

Ok everyone, my company did a lay off and unfortunately it affected me. I have been interviewing like crazy and trying to get back to work. I am just standing on my faith that the door is about to open up for me. I am just starting to lose my faith. My background is Human Resource Business Partner. If anyone is going through the same thing or could say ecouragement words that would be nice. If anyone knows of any companies in San Diego or Orange County area please let me know.

Black Listed

I've been unemployed since May, I've had at least 30 interviews and everything is fine until they speak with my last employer. When I filed for unemployment, the woman in HR contested, it went to appeal and during that, the judge ruled in my favor and contacted the state department about the company. The woman in HR had a warrant issued for criminal negligence and I now I can't get work.

Funny story

I spent 3 DAYS polishing my resume and application to submit for a job with the coroner's office. (For those who are squeamish, stop right here.) The position I wanted, disappeared on the day I was finishing up the application, and I was crestfallen. Made a phone call to HR, and told the young girl (woman, she just sounds 12 on the phone! Lol) about my plight. I don't know what or WHY this happened, but the NEXT day the position was back up! There's also another position I'm qualified for, but DIDN'T apply for. Anyhoo, I went to check the status of my ☝ one application, and it turns out I'm still under consideration: FOR BOTH POSITIONS! ??? I don't know how it happened unless the HR managers are giving each other my info, but I am NOT complaining. I'll gratefully take either job. I was so happy to see I was not only under consideration for both, but I wasn't immediately eliminated, either. This to me means I'm closer and closer to getting that job. Cross your fingers for me. This IS my dream job. Oh, and it's not ALL about me. I'm pulling for fellow jobcasers as well. I want everyone to get hired. ;)'

Applying for a dream

It really do not get into my mind is that companies are always looking for experienced people. I have almost 4 years graduated from college with a bachelor degree in Business Adm./HR, I had applied to unnumbers of positions within this department and positions that are not directly related but believing that will help me one day to get into hr and no one calls. I graduated with honors but that does not count anymore...I guess. It is frustrating that unless you have a connection inside of these companies you will not get that call. It is sad that people like me that have a passion for this career, because I did an internship and I love Human Resources career would not get that chance.

Ready to give up...

I am at my wits end. I am trying to relocate to Florida and have applied for over 230 jobs in the healthcare and human services fields and the few responses I do get are rejections and I did get 2 responses that offered me half of what I make now. I get that I might have to take a pay cut but there’s no way I can cut it in half. That’s just not feasible. I have made it clear that I will pay for all moving expenses. I have 3 degrees but my nursing license is not a five right now. I need to take a RN Remediation course because it’s been more than 5 years. So I can’t work as a nurse but I can do pretty much everything else in a doctors office. I’ve tried hospitals, long term care, mental health, substance abuse....the list goes on and on. I really needed to make this change in my life but I don’t understand why with my education and experience I can get a job. I’m so close to giving up but I have wanted this move for so long. Suggestions anyone? I don’t know how many more applications I can possibly fill out.
