Better training, help when you need it. Instead of punching in pricing and add in discount s. Modernize it with scans like other stores.

A LOL moment #Hobby Lobby
Not a lol moment but I absolutely hated it there. I was the only black employee and I had 2 employees say racial things to me, one of them used the “N” word and they literally do nothing about it. If you’re a minority, I would not recommend you work there. The customers are terrible and extremely rude and argumentative. The only thing good about that place was the pay but $18 is not enough for me to stay and work amongst racist. I wouldn’t even shop there and they really do have some nice things. If you can, work elsewhere.

I felt proud to work for #Hobby Lobby when...
I was treated like dirt from customers and store manager for 13 years. Every day I was under stress cause you have to type everything in and the store is always busy. Store manager picks favorites and doesn't listen to his employees. I was always going home sick and depressed. I have bipolar and am a misanthrope and my symptoms have gotten so bad I am depressed all the time. I eventually had to walk out and quit.
